Mike Embach (born January 17 1988) is an American professional ice hockey player. He is currently playing for the Fort Wayne Komets of the ECHL. ==Playing career== Embach attended Ferris State University where he played NCAA Division I college hockey with the Ferris State Bulldogs men's ice hockey team scoring 58 points in 132 career games. Embach played the 2011–12 season with the Chicago Express of the ECHL, and on August 7, 2012, he signed a one-year contract to remain in the ECHL with the Cincinnati Cyclones for the 2012–13 season. Embach contributed with 34 points in 55 games for the Cyclones, before leading the team with 17 points in 17 post-season games to reach the conference finals. During the season, Embach was also briefly loaned for his second stint in the AHL with the Lake Erie Monsters, contributing with an assist from 2 games. On June 30, 2014, Embach was re-signed by the Fort Wayne Komets after a successful 2013–14 season in which he produced 22 goals and 41 points in 52 games. In his second season with the Komets and produced a career high 70 points in 69 games, second amongst the Komets, before suffering a second consecutive semi-final exit in the post-season. Embach also made his return to the AHL in the 2014–15 season, appearing briefly in 3 games for the Norfolk Admirals. On May 18, 2015, Embach opted to pursue a professional European career in agreeing to a one-year contract with Swedish HockeyAllsvenskan club, Leksands IF. Embach started the 2015–16 season in Leksands, but after scoring 1 goal in 9 games he opted for a mutual release to return to North America on October 3, 2015.
